Samsung is all set to host its first Unpacked Event of 2025 next week. The highlight of the event will be the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series which will include at least three models. Apart from the Galaxy S25 Series, Samsung is expected to showcase Galaxy Ring 2 and XR Glasses during the Unpacked event. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event: Livestreaming Details
Samsung will host the event in San Jose on 22nd January 2025. The event will be live-streamed online at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT/6 PM GMT/7 PM CET/ globally and in India, the event will begin at 11:30 PM IST.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will include three smartphones- Samsung Galaxy S25 5G, Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G. All three will have a tweaked design, with the Ultra variant getting more pronounced curves than the other two. The phones will arrive in a variety of color options, some of which will be online exclusive.
In terms of performance, Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will sport a 200MP main sensor along with a 50MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, and 50MP periscope sensor at the back. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will feature a 50MP primary sensor with a 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto sensor.
All three smartphones are expected to arrive with vibrant Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. In terms of Galaxy AI, Gemini will have a more important role this time along with new AI-based productivity, accessibility, and photography features.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Expected

Samsung is expected to add a fourth member to the Galaxy S25 Series. Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will be one of the thinnest phones we have seen from Samsung so far. The device has been in the leaks for quite some time now and a look at the recent renders shows what the device might entail. The Slim version will have a thickness of merely 6.4mm and it will feature a 6.7 or 6.8-inch screen. The dimensions of Galaxy S25 Slim will be 159x76x6.4mm. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will not launch alongside the rest of the series next week. It will just be showcased and have an official launch in May 2025.
Samsung Galaxy Ring 2

Samsung will most likely not launch the 2nd generation Galaxy Ring during the Unpacked Event. However, the brand will surely give a sneak peek into what’s coming to the Galaxy Ring 2. Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to get an extended battery life and updated sensors for accurate measurements in terms of health and fitness. Samsung Project Moohan XR Glasses

Another product that will just be teased is Project Moohan XR Glasses. Samsung has already confirmed the existence of these glasses but other than that, there are just rumors around it. The AR Glasses are currently being called Project Moohan and are being made in partnership with Google and Qualcomm on the Android XR operating system.
