Samsung might debut the Galaxy Ring 2 during January 2025 Unpacked Event: Details Inside

Samsung’s inaugural Unpacked event of 2025 is approaching rapidly. While the company has yet to officially confirm the date for its January Unpacked event, numerous leaks and speculations suggest it may take place on January 22nd. At this event, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Series, which will include the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a fourth model, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim. In addition to the flagship smartphones, the company will also present the Project Moohan XR Headset.

Now, the latest report from DigiTimes claims that Samsung is planning to debut the Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 during the upcoming unpacked event.

According to DigiTimes, the brand will showcase the first look of Galaxy Ring 2 during the Unpacked event. Similar to how the first-generation Galaxy Ring made its debut this year during the January 2024 event.

The next-generation Galaxy Ring is expected to come in nine sizes, similar to the existing Galaxy Ring, and add two more sizes to compete with the Oura Ring. This information about new sizes is exciting as it means more accessibility. A few days ago, Max Jambor claimed that Samsung would introduce sizes 14 and 15 for the existing Galaxy Ring in January, but two new sizes for the second generation ring was something that wasn’t heard before. The ring is also expected to be thinner and feature a longer battery than a first-generation ring that will last over 7 days. Health sensors will also get more accurate and improved AI features will be a part of it.

Followed by the first look in January, Galaxy Ring 2 is also expected to go on sale in July or August 2025.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series sale date has surfaced online. Korean publication FNNews claims that the pre-orders will begin on 24^th February 2025 and early access for reservations will start on 4^th February 2025.
