Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Launch Date Confirmed: Pre-Reservations Now Open in India

Samsung has finally confirmed the date of its first Unpacked Event of 2025. Samsung will host this Unpacked event on 22nd January wherein the highlight will be the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will include the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. A fourth member is also joining the family which might be the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, but whether this one will be launched alongside the other three or not remains to be seen.

Ahead of the launch, pre-reservations for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series have begun in India and will continue until 22nd January 2025. In India, those who want to own the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will have to pay Rs. 1999 to pre-book it. Those who pre-book will also get benefits worth Rs. 5000, claims Samsung.

How to Pre-Book Galaxy S25 Series smartphones in India?

  • Go to the Samsung India website and click on the ‘pre-reserve’ button to add a Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass.
  • Make a payment of Rs. 1999 using any prepaid options available.
  • As soon as you make the payment, you will get a Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass via email and SMS on your registered phone number.
  • It will include a welcome email post successful pre-reserve, which will state all the additional benefits you will get.
  • Go to Samsung.com and buy the next Galaxy device using the coupon you have received and avail all the exciting benefits.
  • When you make a payment for your device, your purchase amount will be adjusted by Rs. 1999 which you have already paid.
  • If the coupon isn’t used within the pre-booking period, it will get canceled automatically and the amount of Rs. 1999 will be refunded to the original payment source.

For now, this is only pre-booking information. Pricing and sale offers will be announced when the launch takes place. Like every year, Samsung will host a live where users will be able to avail more offers and discounts.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will stream via Samsung’s official YouTube channel. It will start at 11:30 PM IST on 22nd January.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Expectations

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Ultra model is expected to get up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage onboard. Camera specs might also be upgraded by including a new 50MP 3X telephoto camera. All three devices are said to get Qi2 25-watt wireless fast charging which will most likely be sold separately. Larger batteries and more Galaxy AI features will be a part of the upcoming Galaxy S25 Series as well.

What else is coming to Galaxy Unpacked?

Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, the brand might show off a Mixed-reality headset that will run Google’s Android XR OS. Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 might also be showcased during the upcoming event.
