TL; DR
- Nothing launched three phones in 2026, with no flagship or CMF phones.
- Nothing says 2027 will bring more than twice as many phones.
- Its Delhi Co-creation Program will let community members preview 2027 devices.
The London-based smartphone startup, or should I call it the smartphone company now, has had a strangely quiet smartphone year. It hasn’t released a flagship or a CMF from Nothing. So far, it has only launched three phones in total.
If you wondered whether the brand was pulling back, its India chief has an answer.

What Is Nothing Planning For 2027?
Akis Evangelidis, Nothing’s co-founder and India president, says the company will launch more than twice as many smartphones next year as it did in 2026. Given that the company has launched three phones this year, the phrasing implies it could launch more than six phones in 2027.
No names and timing have been shared so far. However, Evangelidis has also announced a Co-creation Program coming to Delhi.

It will be hosted at Nothing India’s headquarters. The program will offer an exclusive preview of 2027 devices so that community members can provide the company with their feedback.
Spots are limited, and you can apply through the Nothing Community website.

Why Was 2026 So Quiet In The First Place?
Earlier this year, Carl Pei said Nothing wouldn’t launch a flagship in 2026 because component prices were rising exponentially, including RAM and storage chips. That is the same reason why CMF skipped a launch this year as well.
Then the company launched the Phone (4b) as its most affordable model. At the time of writing, the Phone (4b) costs ₹29,999 for the baseline variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top-end variant with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage costs ₹40,100. That might sound a lot, but it is the new normal in the consumer tech world.

Doubling output while memory costs stay high is a bold call. Either Nothing expects costs to ease, or it plans to spread price tiers more widely. I’d watch for a Phone (3) successor, because a brand built on design needs a hero phone.
Based on the existing lineup and update cycles, a realistic 2027 slate could look something like this.

| Category | Possible Model | Expected Starting Price (₹) | Notes |
| Flagship | Phone (4) or Phone (5) | 70,000+ | Successor to Phone (3) |
| Upper Mid-range | Phone (5a) Pro | 60,000+ | Successor to Phone (4a) Pro |
| Mid-range | Phone (5a) | 48,000 – 55,000 | Successor to Phone (4a) |
| Affordable / Budget | Next “b” series (e.g. Phone 5b) | Mid-to-high 40,000s | Successor to Phone (4b) |
| CMF Series | 1–2 CMF smartphones | Not specified | Return after 2026 pause |
