Quick Verdict
The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max brings together one of the most ambitious camera systems I have tested this year, excellent battery life, and a stunning display. The triple 200MP setup is the highlight, especially the ultrawide camera, which comes surprisingly close to the main camera in both detail and video quality.
Add the close-focusing telephoto, versatile video modes, and an 8,000 mAh battery, and you have a flagship that works particularly well for photography, video, and everyday use. It still has room to improve in charging speed and long-range zoom quality, but the overall package is among the most complete Android flagships I have used.
Buy it if:
- You want one of the most versatile smartphone camera systems, with three 200MP rear cameras.
- You shoot a lot of photos and videos, including macro shots, portraits, and slow-motion footage.
- You need a phone that can comfortably last through a full day of heavy use, with battery life to spare.
- You want a bright, high-quality display and a premium design with extensive water and dust resistance.
- You want the best software experience on a smartphone.
Skip it if:
- You rarely use your camera and won’t take advantage of the advanced photography and video features.
- You want the absolute best long range zoom.
- You want a compact smartphone.
- You want Qi2 or MagSafe support.
I have been using the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max as my primary phone for over a week now. In that time it has handled regular daily work, taken tons of photos, video shooting, and normal mixed use. The phone does not feel like an incremental update. OPPO has taken the strengths of the previous Find X Pro models and pushed the camera hardware, battery, and overall balance further while keeping the device usable in hand. Let’s dive into this review to find out how.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Unboxing
The unboxing experience is really premium and everything is well organised. You get the phone, a matching case, the 80W charger with cable, and the SIM ejector tool. Though OPPO still ships a USB-A charger inside the box, which needs to change.

The case that comes inside the box carries both OPPO and Hasselblad branding along with the textures. There is also a pre-applied screen protector, so you’re ready to go with this phone as soon as you unbox it.

As for the teleconverter kit, which has to be purchased separately, it includes the teleconverter itself (with lens caps), the converter case with MagSafe support, the mount, a pouch with magnetic lock, a tripod collar, and a Hasselblad wrist strap which looks really nice with the orange accents.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Design and Build
The Find X10 Pro Max refines the design language from recent Find X models. The rectangular camera housing sits on the top left and is positioned so the index finger clears the lenses naturally in both portrait and landscape.

That layout worked well during the full day at Nehru Zoological Park when I was switching between stills and video while moving around the enclosures.
The phone measures 8.4 mm thick and weighs around 233 grams for the Luna White version I have. It is a bit thicker and heavier than the Find X9 Pro, which makes sense with the larger battery, but the weight distribution is simply too good.

It does not feel top-heavy or awkward in hand the way some phones with bigger camera modules do. After using it as my primary phone for over a week, the size has not gotten in the way during normal daily use or longer photography sessions.
In fact, the weight distribution is so well balanced that it’s more comfortable to hold than the compact iPhone 18 Pro.

The phone comes in Titanium Gray and Luna White. Titanium Gray has a clean, understated finish that looks classy in person. Luna White carries a dual tone finish that looks better under different lighting than it does in product shots.

Both variants get full IP68 and IP69 ratings, so dust and water protection are covered. The aluminum frame and glass back give it a solid premium feel, and the flat sides sit comfortably against the palm.

For protection, OPPO is using Crystal Guard Glass on both the front and the back, which has been co-developed with Corning. The phone has also received SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance Certification.

There is no dedicated camera button this generation. On the left is the Snap Key, which continues to link to Mind Space by default. A short press captures the screen, a long press attaches a voice note, and a double press opens the interface.

Beyond Mind Space, the key can be customized for shortcuts such as the flashlight, voice recording, translation, and sound profiles, making it useful for quick actions throughout the day.
The fit and finish are excellent. The pre-applied anti-reflective film on the front is easy to overlook at first, but it is present and makes a noticeable difference outdoors. It cuts reflections really well, without impacting the colors or the image quality. Overall, the phone feels sturdy and well put together.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Display
The display is one of the strongest parts of the Find X10 Pro Max. It is a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED panel with 1.15 mm uniform bezels on all sides. The thin borders give content a floating look and make the screen feel more immersive and premium.

With 2,000 nits HBM and 3,600 nits peak, the brightness is excellent. The panel stays fully legible under direct sunlight and the anti-reflective coating helps more than I expected. Compared to the S26 Ultra in bright conditions, the Find X10 Pro Max shows fewer reflections and better clarity.

Color accuracy holds up well and the phone supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. HDR content on Netflix and YouTube looks vibrant with no issues.
OPPO also specifies support for the BT.2020 color gamut, with a claimed 95% coverage, alongside 10-bit color. The company says this wider gamut helps reproduce more saturated colors in HDR content.

The refresh rate adapts, staying at 120 Hz for daily use and going up to 144 Hz in supported games. And since it’s LTPO, it can go down all the way to 1 Hz, to save power when the high refresh rate is not necessary.

For dimming, the panel uses 3840Hz PWM dimming at brightness levels of 70 nits or below and DC dimming above that threshold. It also supports a minimum brightness of 1 nit, which is useful when reading or browsing in a dark room.

OPPO includes AI Adaptive Eye Care features designed to encourage healthier viewing habits, along with TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification.

Auto-brightness reacts quickly to changes in ambient light and does not aggressively dim or get bright unexpectedly. Viewing angles are also great. Overall, the display is sharp, bright, and consistent across the different lighting environments I used it in.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Speakers and Haptics
The Find X10 Pro Max uses a symmetrical dual stereo speaker setup. The speakers get reasonably loud and keep vocals clear at higher volumes.

The balance between top and bottom is better than last year, though they still do not quite match the output and clarity of the best Samsung and iPhone speakers I have used. They are still good for media and calls, just not class-leading.

Haptics are always a highlight on OPPO phones and this one is no exception. The X-axis motor with O-Haptics delivers sharp, precise taps that feel consistent across the UI. Typing feedback is crisp, and the response during system interactions adds to the overall premium feel.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Software
ColorOS 17 feels really smooth on the Find X10 Pro Max. The new Living Flow Design is everywhere. Animations have more of an elastic feel and the transitions stay continuous.

The clock on the always-on display moves seamlessly into the lock screen and then into the home screen widget. Even small things like opening the control center or pulling up the smart sidebar feel more responsive than before.

The Flux themes look good. The mountain one spins when you wake the phone and changes with the weather outside.

Quick settings and notifications have a translucent look that makes the interface look more premium. There are some bloatware apps, but you can disable or uninstall all of them. Lock Screen Magazine can be turned off too if you do not want it.

OPPO AI
OPPO continues to lead with respect to AI features, and this year, they’ve taken things to the next level. My favorite is the AI Photo Agent in the gallery. You can just type what you want changed, remove something from the background, fix the lighting, or even use a different photo as a reference so the edit matches its look.

There are also quick templates for lighting and skin that work well when you do not want to spend much time. I tried it on a few shots from the zoo and the results turned out pretty good while staying natural.

OSee is another one I liked a lot. It identifies plants and animals, checks food nutrition, and handles document scans and translation without much fuss. It also worked fine for a couple of the smaller animals at the zoo and for reading signs.

Mind Space has improved as well. You can save longer documents and links from YouTube or a website without having to capture the whole thing, and it also sorts things into collections automatically. The Snap Key makes dropping items into it quick, though you can also use the three finger gesture.

AI Mind Pilot, now with Agent Mode (Manus and ChatGPT), can pull files already on the phone, rename them, and put together simple summaries or itineraries from what you have saved. It asks before uploading anything and there is a transparency report in settings.

AI Call Guard tries to flag possible AI voice or face-swap attempts on calls, which is useful given how common those have become. You’ll need to use the OPPO Dialer for this, but Google Dialer is set as the default for some reason. Thankfully, you can just enter the code *#*#677776#*#* to access the OPPO Dialer.

Sharing works well across devices. Quick Share connects with iPhones through AirDrop compatibility, and OPPO Share handles tap-to-share between ColorOS phones. There is also support for Apple Watch, iPhone, and AirPods. O+ Connect makes pairing with a Mac easy.

I have been using this as my primary phone for over a week and the software has been incredibly smooth and stable. Animations do not break when multiple apps are open and I have not hit any major issues. ColorOS 17 really delivers the best software experience on a flagship smartphone.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Biometrics
The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is quick and accurate. It still works fine when my finger is a bit damp. The placement feels natural and I do not have to shift my grip much.
Face unlock is reliable in decent light and fast enough for most situations. I still prefer the fingerprint for consistency, but both have worked without problems during my use.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Performance
The Find X10 Pro Max runs the brand new Dimensity 9600 Pro, which is based on a 2nm process. After more than a week as my main phone, everyday tasks and camera use have felt consistent with no sudden slowdowns.
Synthetic Benchmarks
| Benchmark | OPPO Find X10 Pro Max (Dimensity 9600 Pro) |
| AnTuTu v12 Score | 3860760 |
| Storage (Score, Sequential Read Speed, Write Speed) | Score: 113004; Sequential Read: 4127 MB/s; Sequential Write: 4086 MB/s |
| Geekbench 7 CPU (Single-Core, Multi-Core) | Single-Core: 2558; Multi-Core: 9176 |
| Geekbench 7 GPU (OpenCL, Vulkan) | OpenCL: 18771; Vulkan: 19099 |
| 3DMark Wildlife Extreme (Score, Avg FPS) | Score: 6232; Avg FPS: 37.32 |
| 3DMark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test (Best Loop, Lowest Loop, Stability) | Best Loop: 5060; Lowest Loop: 4179; Stability: 82.6% |
The phone stays controlled under load. It gets warm during longer video recording and gaming sessions but does not overheat or drop frames in a way that becomes noticeable.
BGMI on this phone can run at 120 FPS and stays stable throughout. Genshin Impact can also run fine at 60 FPS through extended play without frame drops or the phone getting uncomfortable to hold. Even after a full day of shooting at the zoo and regular use, the back never got too hot, which is impressive.
ColorOS 17 keeps the animations fluid even with several apps running. App launches and switching between them is quick, and the phone does not struggle under normal loads. It has been a stable experience so far.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Cameras
Note: We’re still updating the review with camera samples.
The camera system is the biggest reason to consider the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max. It has three 200 MP rear cameras, including a 13 mm ultrawide and a 3X telephoto with a minimum focusing distance of just 10 cm. The hardware is backed by Hasselblad color tuning, OPPO’s LUMO True Image Engine, and a dedicated True Color Camera.
The main camera captures detailed photos with natural colors and good dynamic range, although its processing can occasionally lift shadows more than I’d like (fixable with Master Mode). The real surprise is the ultrawide. It retains impressive detail in daylight, matches the main camera closely in color, and performs well in low-light video at 4K 30fps. Its 4 cm minimum focusing distance also makes it useful for macro photography.
The 3X telephoto is equally versatile. Portraits have convincing subject separation and natural skin tones, while the close-focusing capability makes it easy to capture small subjects without switching cameras.
Photos at 3X and 6X look particularly good, and shots around 10X remain useful. Quality softens at higher magnifications, though, especially when the phone relies more heavily on processing.
OPPO has also put plenty of thought into the camera software. The LUMO Color Palette lets you adjust the look of photos directly in the camera app, while Master Mode offers more control over processing and supports RAW capture. There’s also a Hasselblad XPan mode for panoramic shots and an optional teleconverter for users who want more reach.
The 50 MP selfie camera has autofocus and an 18 mm equivalent focal length. Its wide field of view is useful for group selfies and vlogging, while daylight shots retain good facial texture. Autofocus helps keep faces sharp as your distance from the phone changes, and low-light performance is improved over what I’d expect from a typical selfie camera.
Video is another major strength. All three rear cameras support 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps recording, alongside features such as 4K 120fps Dolby Vision, Open Gate capture, and O-Log2 for color grading. There is also native integration of the BlackMagic camera app. Even in standard video mode, the results are quite impressive.
Overall, the Find X10 Pro Max has a remarkably consistent camera system. Long-range zoom could be better, and some creative controls are unavailable when using the teleconverter, but the combination of versatile cameras and advanced video features makes this an excellent phone for photography and content creation.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: Battery Life and Charging
Battery life is one of the areas where the Find X10 Pro Max stands out clearly. The 8,000 mAh silicon-carbon cell has given me the longest endurance I have seen on a flagship this year.
During my usage period, I have been consistently getting 9 to 10 hours of screen-on time with heavy usage. On lighter days, it can easily stretch closer to two days without needing a charge.
Standby drain stays low. Overnight drops usually sit in the 1 to 2% range, and even with Always-On Display enabled the drain stays around 5% or less.
Charging is handled by 80W SUPERVOOC along with 50W AIRVOOC wireless. A full charge takes a little over an hour, and a top-up from 0 to 50 percent takes roughly 30 to 35 minutes.
It is not the fastest charging I have used, and with a battery this large I would have preferred something closer to 100W, but the endurance is high enough that I rarely need a quick top-up during the day.
The charging options extend beyond OPPO’s own SUPERVOOC and AIRVOOC systems. The X10 Pro Max also supports PD/PPS charging at up to 55W. Reverse wired and wireless charging are supported as well. The phone also supports bypass charging during gaming, which routes power directly to the system instead of the battery to reduce heat.
OPPO claims the battery should retain 80% capacity after five years.
Review Verdict: Should You Buy the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max?
After more than a week with the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max as my primary phone, I came away impressed by how well its cameras, battery, display, and software work together. The triple 200MP camera system is the main attraction, particularly the 13mm ultra-wide, which maintains impressive detail in daylight and holds up well in low-light video.
The 3X telephoto is equally versatile, with close-focusing macro capabilities and strong portrait performance. Video recording is another highlight, with high-frame-rate options, Open Gate capture, and O-Log2 giving creators plenty to work with.
The 8,000 mAh battery is a major advantage for anyone who spends long days shooting photos, recording video, navigating, and using mobile data. The display is sharp and bright, ColorOS 17 has been smooth throughout my testing, and the phone remains comfortable to hold despite its size and weight.
There are still a few areas I would like OPPO to improve. Charging takes over an hour for a full charge, long-range zoom quality drops as you move beyond the more useful magnifications, and some camera controls become unavailable when the teleconverter is attached. The speakers are good, although they leave room for improvement at this price.
If you want a flagship with a versatile camera system, strong video capabilities, and battery life that can comfortably handle demanding days, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max deserves serious consideration.
