Finally, we’re also expecting Samsung to release its latest foldables in a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, 2026. Its form factor, combined with a 200MP primary sensor, a 3.5x periscope telephoto, and a full-width 50MP ultrawide, makes it the most camera-ambitious Reno yet.

Oppo Reno 16c

The Reno 16C’s most intriguing specification is the 50MP periscope telephoto, a camera feature usually reserved for phones priced above ₹60,000. However, the step-down from the regular Reno 16 would be the chipset and the display’s brightness, though the phone has a bigger screen.

Nothing Phone (4b)

Nothing’s decision to cancel the CMF Phone 3 Pro and launch the Phone (4b) instead, as a new B-series product, sounds more like a strategic shift than a coincidence. Due to the memory crunch, the phone might be a little more expensive than we’re used to seeing on Snapdragon 6 Gen 4-powered phones.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 isn’t the direct successor to the Fold 7. Instead, it’s rumored to feature the wider form factor that addresses the persistent complaint that book-style foldables feel too narrow when unfolded. It could also come with near crease-free technology. Out of all the specifications, the battery life and the primary camera’s resolution sound impressive.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra

Recent leaks suggest Samsung has renamed the direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 as Fold 8 Ultra. While the regular Z Fold 8 will offer the wide-screen form factor, this one sticks to the familiar, tall-body form factor we’re used to seeing on Samsung foldables. And yes, the memory crunch might directly impact the smartphone’s price; it could be more expensive than the Fold 7 was at launch.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 won’t reinvent the clamshell foldable formula. It will only refine it. It could run on the Exynos 2600 chip from the Galaxy S26 series. If we ignore the limitations of a clamshell form factor, the Exynos chip did pretty well in my Galaxy S26 review, aside from occasional heating and thermal throttling.

Motorola Razr 70

• Expected Launch: July (TBA)

The Razr 70 is already official in the United States, and the company could launch it in India soon. The baseline model with 256GB of storage costs $800 abroad, and that’s the point. With a mid-range chipset and average cameras, how well this one does depends on how well the company prices it in the country. To be successful, the flip-style foldable must cost between ₹60,000 and ₹70,000.

Motorola Razr 70 Ultra

Motorola didn’t upgrade the Razr 70 Ultra’s specifications globally, and that’s a big letdown, given that the company revised the flip-phone’s price anyway. The success of the Razr 70 Ultra, like the regular Razr 70, also depends on its pricing. It’s carrying the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, so performance shouldn’t be an issue, and neither should battery life.

Motorola Edge 70 Max

Although we don’t know many details about the Motorola Edge 70 Max, the phone could be based on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Further, it could also feature Motorola’s Kira AI assistant.
