vivo India has officially teased the X500 series on its website and social media channels. The promotional image shows the X500 Pro Max alongside a rectangular smartwatch and a large cylindrical lens accessory marked 400mm.
The fine print identifies the smartwatch as the vivo Watch GT 2 and confirms that it will be sold separately. It also states that the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra is compatible exclusively with the X500 Pro Max and requires a separate purchase.
With the extender attached and the Telephoto Extender function enabled in the Camera app, the X500 Pro Max can reach a 400mm-equivalent focal length.
vivo is also expected to introduce a 200mm-equivalent ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for the standard X500 and X500 Pro. Both accessories follow the approach used with the earlier X300 Ultra, relying on multi-element glass optics.
