TL; DR
- Motorola Signature 27 arrives November 5 with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
- Karbonn is back with the Rebel and Rebel Pro, starting at ₹11,999.
- Vivo X500 series is tipped for late November, while iQOO 16 slips to December.
I didn’t think I’d write this sentence, but it was Karbonn, a brand most of us had forgotten as a 2010s memory, that kicked off November 2026 with two smartphones. Anyway, it’s the year of surprises, so I’ll move on to the other launches that will or might take place this month. From there, the month only gets busier as we have Motorola’s Signature 27 lined up for a launch.
While these are the confirmed launches for the month, there’s more sauce in the ones that remain rumored. I’m talking about Vivo’s camera-focused X500 series, which is all but certain to land before the month is out, and Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship. However, none of them would commit to a launch date, at least for now.

Upcoming Smartphone Launches In India (November 2026): Confirmed Models
Karbonn Rebel & Rebel Pro
- Launch Date: Launched November 2, 2026; sales begin November 4 on Amazon
Tech Specs
- Karbonn Rebel: 6.75-inch HD+ LCD, up to 90Hz, 650 nits peak brightness; MediaTek Helio G81; 7,000mAh battery with 18W charging
- Karbonn Rebel Pro: 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD, 120Hz, 720 nits; same Helio G81 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage; 64MP AI dual rear camera, 16MP front; 6,000mAh battery with 20W charging via USB-C
- Shared: Android 16 out of the box with a promise of zero bloatware, two years of OS updates, two years of security patches, 3.5mm headphone jacks
- Pricing: Rebel at ₹11,999 (₹10,999 with a bank offer); Rebel Pro at ₹12,499 (₹11,499 with the same offer)
- Also coming: A third model, the Karbonn Rebel 5G, has been teased with no specs or date yet

Karbonn’s comeback, as I see it, is deliberately unglamorous, and it has pros and cons. Starting with the pro, both handsets go straight for what the crowd actually needs: usable phones with decent displays, and ones that don’t force you to carry a power adapter at all times. Both of them are priced below ₹12,000.
However, the brand has omitted 5G connectivity to keep the price under control. More importantly, the brand has promised to ship the Reben and the Rebel Pro without pre-installed apps. The con, however, is that the launch might not reach many people, especially the target audience for these phones, since they aren’t looking for roundups on the internet.

Motorola Signature 27
- Launch Date: November 5, 2026, confirmed for India by Motorola
Tech Specs
- Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 (model SM8975), paired with Adreno 850 graphics and LPDDR6 RAM, making this the first phone globally to ship with this chip
- Display: 6.8-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED, reportedly up to 165Hz
- Cameras: 50MP Sony LYT-910 primary with OIS, plus a 200MP periscope telephoto capable of up to 100x Super Zoom
- Audio: Bang & Olufsen tuning, a first for any Motorola phone
- Software: Android 17 with a promised seven years of both OS updates and security patches
- Colors: Pantone Capulet Green and Pantone Coal Smoke
- Expected price: Estimates swing fairly wide, from around ₹69,999 to as high as ₹89,999 for the top storage tier, with the original Motorola Signature’s ₹59,999 starting price as a useful anchor for how much Motorola is pushing upmarket here

This is the phone that I am most excited about. The Motorola Signature 27 will be the first smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (2nm). Lenovo’s smartphone brand has somehow managed to do that before a Chinese flagship maker, and that is a big deal for me.
Besides the chipset, the phone will feature 100x periscope zoom and Bang & Olufsen audio. Clearly, Motorola wants its audience to take this one seriously. That said, adding headline-grabbing hardware could also mean a price tag I might not be as excited about. We’ve already seen a major price hike for flagship products early in the year.

Assuming that Motorola is equally affected by the global memory and component crisis, the Signature 27 might cost well above ₹1 lakh at launch (for its baseline model). That could be a sharp rise over the first-generation Signature that the brand released last year. However, don’t treat this as a word from the brand.
Upcoming Smartphone Launches In November 2026: Strongly Rumored
Xiaomi 18 Pro
- Status: India launch officially confirmed by Xiaomi at India Mobile Congress 2026, but with no exact date set
Tech Specs
- Display: 6.4-inch 1.5K M11 AMOLED LTPO, 1 to 120Hz variable refresh, up to 4,000 nits peak brightness, plus a secondary rear AMOLED display for a dual-screen design
- Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage
- Battery: 7,000mAh with 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 27W reverse charging
- Cameras: Dual 200MP rear setup
- China price: CNY 5,999, which works out to roughly ₹85,650, but the launch price will be much higher than that.

While the Xiaomi 18 Pro, not the 18 Pro Max, could debut globally in November 2026, there’s still no word on the smartphone’s Indian launch. Don’t get me wrong, though. The brand has already confirmed it’s coming to India; it’s just the “when” that remains a question.
At least one dedicated tracker now pegs an India launch for December 2026 instead, which sounds plausible to me. When the phone arrives, it will appeal to buyers looking for something unique — the display integrated into the camera module. However, those eyeing the phone should also be ready to pay a premium for it.

Vivo X500, X500 Pro & X500 Pro Max
- Expected Launch: Tipped for late November 2026, no official date yet. However, all three models have cleared BIS certification in India.
Tech Specs
- Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 9600 series across the lineup
- Cameras: Zeiss-tuned systems throughout, with the Pro Max reportedly carrying a 200MP periscope telephoto
- Software: Expected to be the first phones in India running OriginOS 7
- Expected price: Roughly ₹65,000 to ₹70,000 for the base X500, climbing past ₹1,15,000 for the Pro Max, which is already selling in Europe at the equivalent of about ₹1,90,000

Between the China launch in September, the global debut in late October, and the recent BIS certifications showing up online, the Vivo X500 series is about as close to a sure thing as an unconfirmed phone gets. The only real open question is price. Given what the European Pro Max variant costs, I’d brace for Indian pricing that’s significantly higher than the outgoing X300(s).
I’m expecting the price hike to be around 40% (based on the launch prices of the Find X10 series). The camera-centric flagship range should land with at least three cameras on all models, with only the sensor and lens choice differing. The top-tier X500 Pro Max could debut with a 200MP periscope zoom lens.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo
- Expected Launch: Tipped for the first or second week of November, unconfirmed by Motorola

Tech Specs
- Display: 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 144Hz, with Gorilla Glass 7i protection
- Chipset: Snapdragon 7s Gen 3
- Battery: 7,000mAh with 45W charging
- Expected price: Around ₹38,000 to ₹40,000
This one sits in an interesting spot right below the Edge 70 Pro+. The 144Hz display and 7,000 mAh battery under ₹40,000 make a genuinely solid mid-range pitch. However, it will depend on whether Motorola gets the price right.

Moto G47 Power 5G
- Expected Launch: November 2026, following its European debut
Tech Specs
- Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300
- Battery: 7,000mAh
- Camera: 108MP primary
POCO X8s 5G
- Expected Launch: November 2026, following its global debut
Tech Specs
- Chipset: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
- Display: 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED
- Charging: 100W wired
Both of these are already real, tested products elsewhere in the world, which usually means the India wait is about localization and pricing rather than whether they’re coming at all.
Upcoming Smartphone Launches In November-December 2026
OnePlus 16 & OnePlus 16R
- Launch Timeline: Both models are expected in India in December 2026 or early January 2027 (no official confirmation yet; tipped by multiple sources). OnePlus 16 launched in China on October 12, 2026.

Tech Specs
- OnePlus 16: 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED (up to 185Hz), Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, up to 16GB RAM + 1TB storage, 200MP main + 50MP telephoto + 50MP ultrawide rear cameras, 50MP front camera, 9,000mAh battery with 100W wired + 50W wireless charging, ColorOS 17 / OxygenOS based on Android 17.
- OnePlus 16R: 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED (165–185Hz), Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 12/16GB RAM, triple rear camera setup (reports vary between 200MP main + 50MP telephoto or triple 50MP), large battery (~7,500–9,000mAh) with 100W–120W charging, ColorOS 17 / OxygenOS based on Android 17.
- Shared / Expected: Premium build (metal frame), ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, long software support.
While OnePlus is rumored to launch both the OnePlus 16 and the OnePlus 16R in India, the timeline isn’t clear yet. The company is testing the phones in India, but the launch event might slip to December. There’s also no word on whether these phones will be available.
