TL; DR
  • Oppo will launch four Reno 16 models in India in July, more than China received.
  • The Reno 16 Pro features a Dimensity 9500s chip and a 200MP triple camera system.
  • The compact Reno 16 Pro Mini and budget Reno 16c are India-exclusive additions to the series.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is gearing up to bring the Reno 16 series to India in July 2026, with a broader lineup than the one that launched in China in May. Oppo Reno 16 Series: Everything We Know

Even though Oppo hasn’t confirmed the launch date, Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the series could break cover on July 2, 2026.

The regular Reno 16 could feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, run on the Dimensity 8500 chipset, and draw its power from a 6,700 mAh battery.

The Reno 16 Pro, on the other hand, is the most premium handset of the lineup. It features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, and a triple-camera system on the back, headlined by a 200MP OIS primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
