Oppo Reno 16 Series Coming To India With Four Models, Including A Pro Mini and Reno 16c

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is gearing up to bring the Reno 16 series to India in July 2026, with a broader lineup than the one that launched in China in May. While the company’s native market received only the regular Reno 16 and Pro versions, India will reportedly also get the Reno 16 Pro Mini and the Reno 16c.

Oppo Reno 16 Series: Everything We Know

Even though Oppo hasn’t confirmed the launch date, Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the series could break cover on July 2, 2026. 

The regular Reno 16 could feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, run on the Dimensity 8500 chipset, and draw its power from a 6,700 mAh battery. 

The Reno 16 Pro, on the other hand, is the most premium handset of the lineup. It features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, and a triple-camera system on the back, headlined by a 200MP OIS primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.

The smartphone could be powered by a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Reno 16 Pro Mini is positioned as a compact premium smartphone, reportedly measuring 8.22 mm thin and weighing 182g. The handset could come with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display. 

Last but not least, the Reno 16c is the entry-level smartphone in the lineup. 

While there’s no wording on the smartphones’ pricing, the baseline Reno 16 could cost around ₹40,000, while the Reno 16 Pro could command a flagship pricing of around ₹60,000.
