The company will host the launch event in London, United Kingdom, where it is expected to unveil its next generation of foldables and wearables. The official invite carries the tagline “A New Shape Unfolds,” which hints at a new foldable form factor, the rumored Galaxy Z Fold8 (wide).

What to Expect at Galaxy Unpacked July 2026

Samsung is expected to announce three foldables this year: the new Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip8.

The company has already spent the past week teasing a wider book-style foldable through a series of videos and images shared across its social media channels. Those teasers show a large rectangular shape transforming into a wider and boxier form factor, strongly pointing toward the arrival of the Z Fold8 (wide).

The successor to the Z Fold7 is rumored to be called the Z Fold8 Ultra, and it will bring minor improvements such as a better ultra-wide camera, newer chip, and possibly a bigger battery with faster charging.

Galaxy Watch 9 Series Also Expected

Samsung is also expected to refresh its smartwatch lineup with the launch of the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

Recent retailer leaks have already revealed European pricing for both watches, while accessory leaks have shown several new band options and finishes ahead of launch. There will be no Classic model this year.

As with previous Unpacked events, pre-orders are expected to open shortly after the keynote concludes, with retail availability likely beginning in early August.
