The major highlights of the phone include an almost bezel-less display, iPhone X-like notch, latest Android OS, and selfie camera with AI Face Beauty.

As for the Vivo Y83 specifications, the handset sports 6.22-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) FullView 2.0 IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a slight amount of bezels on the side.
The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). Further, the Vivo Y83 runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box and houses a 3260mAh battery.

For photography, the Vivo Y83 has to offer a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. Whereas, up front, the phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera with AI Face beauty, portrait mode, live photo, and group selfie.
Other nifty features of Vivo Y83 are Face unlock, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM slots, Game Mode 2.0, Smart split 3.0, app clone, and eye protection mode.
