Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the battery last on the OnePlus N6x and how fast does it charge?
With its 7000 mAh battery, the phone easily stretches up to 2.5 days of standard daily usage on a full charge. Charging speed is limited to 15W, so refilling the battery completely takes around 2 hours. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging to power accessories on the go.
Is the OnePlus N6x good for gaming and heavy everyday use?
Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex 5G processor and 4 GB of RAM, the phone smoothly handles messaging, web browsing, and casual games. However, with 4 GB of physical memory, it is not built for high-end graphics gaming or heavy multitasking.
How good is the camera performance on the OnePlus N6x?
The camera setup consists of a basic 13 MP primary rear lens and a 5 MP front camera. It takes decent, clear photos in good natural light, but low-light clarity and video capability are limited to 1080p at 30 fps. If camera quality is your primary priority, higher-end segment models offer more versatility.
What are the display specs of the OnePlus N6x?
You get a large 6.8-inch LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and up to 900 nits peak brightness. The panel resolution is HD+ (720p), so while scrolling feels very fluid, overall pixel sharpness is slightly lower than Full HD screens.
Is the OnePlus N6x durable and water-resistant?
Durability is a major highlight of this device, featuring an IP64 rating for splash and dust protection alongside MIL-STD-810H military-grade drop resistance testing. This makes it a dependable choice for users who need a extra-durable daily phone.
Does the OnePlus N6x include a headphone jack and microSD slot?
Yes, the OnePlus N6x features a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack so you can plug in wired earphones without a dongle. It also supports expandable memory via a microSD slot supporting up to 2TB of additional space.
Which software version does the OnePlus N6x run?
The handset runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 right out of the box. It offers a clean software environment with light bloatware, fast navigation, and standard OnePlus customization options.
Does the OnePlus N6x support 5G networks in India?
Yes, the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset includes integrated 5G support. It works out of the box with major Indian 5G telecom operators, including Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
