As we reported earlier, Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A is the anticipated “Desh ka Smartphone”. After teasing the entry-grade phone for a couple of weeks, the company finally took the wraps off at an online event.

  • The Redmi 5A is almost similar to Redmi 4A (and that’s why the price also remains same), but this time, Xiaomi has included a dedicated card slot, thus facilitating the use of two SIM cards.
  • This is the first Xiaomi phone to be running MIUI 9 (features) out of the box.
