Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus Design

If leaked image is anything to go by, the Redmi 5 Plus will boast a tall 18:9 display dominating the fascia. The phone’s front seems to be inspired by Vivo’s V7+ whereas, the rear end of the phone seems to imitate Redmi Note 4 design. On the rear side, it flaunts a vertically aligned dual-camera setup and a fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus Features

The leak doesn’t really carry much information about the Redmi 5 Plus features and specifications but previously some rumors threw some light on what Redmi 5 Plus could be unveiled with. According to rumours, it might boast off a 5.9-inches 18:9 display with HD+ resolution. The phone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone is likely to come running on MIUI 9 out-of-the-box.

At this point in time, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus India launch and availability are still a wild guess. If Xaomi decides to launch it in India, it will be Xiaomi’s first 18:9 display budget phone and it will compete with the likes of Micromax Canvas Infinity and LG Q6. Xiaomi is expected to make an official announcement of Redmi 5 Plus next week in China.
