Vivo Z1 Pro is coming and the brand is gushing its twitter feeds with the teasers of this upcoming phone. The promotions surrounding the Z-series phone use the #fullyloaded hashtag to apparently hint at a snappy performance. The Flipkart listing also brags about various facets such as Style and Power.

Going by the leaked images, the Z1 Pro could be a rebranded Vivo Z5x. If the rumors looming over the phone are any true, the specs and features are likely the same. That said, here is everything we know so far about Vivo Z1 Pro.

Vivo Z5x is the rumored Chinese doppelganger of Vivo Z1 Pro and it would cameo through this article. That said, let’s proceed.

1. Processor

Beginning with the Flipkart listing, we know this would be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700-series chipset. The Vivo Z5x is powered by Snapdragon 710 in China, but the Z1 Pro could also replace it with Snapdragon 712.

2. In-display Camera

The punch-hole camera is rad, less obtrusive and far more trendy than the antique notch cutouts. Vivo Z1 Pro is teased to sport an in-display camera within a hole punch. Think creative and slap on a good wallpaper to embrace the circle cutout (just like in the case of Samsung Galaxy S10 series.

A major value proposition of this phone would be the abundance of power- likely from a 5000mAh battery. The company touts a 21 days standby time, which is expected from such a mammoth power source.

This could come with an 18W fast charging support, as available in Vivo Z5x.

Vivo Z51 could twin a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display like Z5x. The punch hole and ultra-thin bezels would leave an edge-to-edge screen real estate. You could experience Android 9 Pie based Funtouch 9 software on this display.

Going with the rumors, this could share the same 16Mp+8Mp+2Mp combination as Z5x at the back. The primary 16Mp sensor of Vivo Z5x has an f/1.78 aperture. The 8 MP sensor is an f/2.2 ultra-wide angle snapper, while the third one is a 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor for bokeh-ish portraits.

Let’s see whether the company launches the device in the same storage variants, viz. 4/6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. You could also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a micro-USB port, and the bottom firing speaker grill. Vivo Z1 Pro might flaunt in multiple gradient colors-Extreme Night Black, Phantom Black, and Aurora. At least from the teasers, we have seen the blue-ish green or Aurora variant.

Vivo has been teasing an imminent launch of Z1 Pro. However, it is yet to spill the pricing details. Well for one, we know it would be available via Flipkart and the launch date is slated for July 3.

As for pricing, our prediction looms in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment, which is a crowded turf inhibited by Samsung Galaxy M40 (review), Redmi Note 7 Pro(review), Realme 3 Pro (review), Honor 20i (review) and more.
