Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Launched in India: Galaxy S25 Edge first look revealed

Samsung has officially unveiled its latest flagship S-Series smartphones during the first Unpacked event of 2025. The Galaxy S25 Series has been announced globally, including in India, and comprises three models: the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. This new series replaces the Galaxy S24 lineup, which was introduced in January 2024. A significant upgrade in this iteration is the adoption of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset across all models, moving away from the Exynos SoC. Additionally, Samsung has rolled out enhanced Galaxy AI features for the S25 Series and teased Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge as well.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Price & Availability

 Samsung Galaxy S25 comes in two storage variants-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 80,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage-Rs. 92,999

Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus comes in two storage models-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 99,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage-Rs. 1,11,999

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra comes in three storage configurations-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 1,29,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage-Rs. 1,41,999
  • 12GB RAM+1TB storage-Rs. 1,65,999

Pre-orders for Galaxy S25 Series are live in India wherein interested people can pre-book it for Rs. 1999 and avail of benefits worth Rs. 5000. The Sale begins on February 7 and there are benefits worth Rs. 18,000 on Watch Ultra and worth Rs. 7000 on Buds 3 Pro on buying Galaxy S25 Series.

Samsung is also offering a storage bump in India, this means you will get 512GB storage when paying for 256GB storage onboard.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Design & Specs

The flagship model of the Galaxy S25 Series is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, complemented by 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and offers storage options of up to 1TB UFS 4.0. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a stunning 6.9-inch Quad HD+ 2x Dynamic AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels, all safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass Armor 2.

 It operates on Android 15 with One UI 7 pre-installed and introduces new Galaxy AI functionalities. Samsung has committed to providing seven years of software and security updates. Regarding its camera capabilities, the device includes a 200MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view on the rear. For selfies and video calls, it is equipped with a 12MP front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery, featuring 45W wired fast charging capabilities. It also supports fast wireless charging 2.0 and wireless PowerShare functionality.

This Ultra model is available in a variety of colors, including Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium White Silver, Titanium Jade Green, Titanium Silver Blue, Titanium Pink Gold, and Titanium Jet Black. Additionally, it will support the S-Pen. Weighing in at 219 grams and measuring 8.2mm in thickness, the device boasts a titanium frame design and is rated IP68 for enhanced durability. Connectivity features will encompass USB 3.2, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, among others.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus: Design & Specs

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus will showcase a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz 2x Dynamic AMOLED display. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offering configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the Galaxy S25+ boasts a rear setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies and video calls, it features a 12MP front-facing camera. The device operates on Android 15 with One UI 7 and is powered by a 4900mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus measures 7.3mm in thickness and weighs approximately 190 grams.

It will be available in a range of colors, including Pink Gold, Blue Black, Silver Shadow, Coral Red, Mint Navy, and Icy Blue.

On the camera front, the Galaxy S25 is outfitted with a 50MP primary sensor on the rear, complemented by a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, it includes a 12MP front-facing sensor. The device operates on Android 15 with One UI 7 pre-installed. Powering the Galaxy S25 is a 4000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is available in a variety of colors, including Pink Gold, Blue Black, Silver Shadow, Coral Red, Mint Navy, and Icy Blue. It has a thickness of 7.2mm and weighs 162 grams. Connectivity features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and additional options.
