Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy M47 will debut in India on June 29, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the company has also revealed several key specifications on the Amazon landing page. Let’s take a look at what the Galaxy M47 has to offer.
Galaxy M47 Key Specifications
To begin with, Samsung is equipping the Galaxy M47 with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, which should offer improved resistance against scratches and accidental drops.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Samsung has paired the processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, a combination that should help with faster app loading and smoother multitasking.
Samsung is expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery for the Galaxy M47, with support for 45W fast charging and bypass charging. Unfortunately, we are not expecting a charger in the box though.
Samsung is also bringing a few AI and software features to the Galaxy M47 5G. The phone will ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and include AI features such as Object Eraser, Edit Suggestions, and something called My Filter.
In addition, Samsung is including features such as AI Voice Transcription and on-device Voicemail. On the privacy front, the Galaxy M47 5G will offer Samsung Knox security along with support for Private Album. The smartphone will also support Tap & Pay through Samsung Wallet.
The Galaxy M47 will receive six generations of Android OS updates, while security patches will be provided for six years.
As for the cameras, the Galaxy M47 will sport a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There will also be a 12MP selfie camera on the front. Both the front and the rear cameras support 4K video recording.
In terms of design, Samsung will offer the phone in Blaze Blue and Rogue Red color options. The device will go on sale through Amazon India and Samsung’s official website shortly after launch.
Galaxy M47 Expected Pricing
The Galaxy M47 is expected to arrive in the ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 segment. More details, including full specifications and pricing, should be announced during the launch event on June 29.
