TL; DR
  • Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is coming to India, although there’s no launch date yet.
  • Earlier leaks point to a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7450, 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor for the main camera, while the ultra-wide could jump to 50MP.
  • Other rumored upgrades include a 5,000mAh+ battery, 68W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and IP68/IP69 ratings.

Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is coming to India, although the company hasn’t shared much else yet. The phone was mentioned in Motorola’s IFA 2026 announcement, with the company saying it will arrive in India “in the coming months.”

There’s still no price or launch date, but leaks have already given us a good idea of what Motorola could have planned for the next Neo model.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo Expected Specifications

Moto Edge 50 Neo camera sensors

The Edge 70 Neo is expected to keep the compact approach of the Neo series, with a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. That would make it smaller than most phones in the same price range while still keeping a high-resolution panel.

The phone could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7450. Motorola is also expected to pair it with a camera setup that sees a noticeable change from the Edge 60 Neo.

The main camera is tipped to be a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 1/1.56-inch sensor. A 10MP 3x telephoto camera could sit alongside it, while selfies may be handled by a 50MP front camera.

The ultrawide camera is expected to get the biggest change. The Edge 60 Neo had a 13MP ultrawide, while the new model could move to a 50MP sensor. That would give Motorola a much higher-resolution option for wider shots.

Battery capacity is expected to be 5,000mAh or higher, with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone could also carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, giving it protection against dust and water, including high-pressure water exposure.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo India Launch

Motorola has only confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is coming to India “in the coming months.” The company has not announced its price or exact launch date yet.

The phone has also been spotted in Android 17 beta testing, while previous leaks have shown its design and color options.
