Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro With More RAM and Storage Launched At 9,890 INR

We recently reviewed the new Galaxy j2 6, which brings a refreshed design to the table, embellished by the Smart Glow LED. The paltry 8GB storage, however, was very difficult to look past. To make amends, Samsung today launches the Galaxy J2 Pro which comes with 2GB RAM (vs 1.5GB) and 16GB of Internal memory.

The Galaxy J2 Pro is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum chipset and relies on the Turbo Speed Technology (TST) for smooth sailing. TST minimizes the size of system apps and proactively cleans unused apps in the RAM to avoid UI lags.

Both the rear 8MP camera and the front 5MP snapper have wide f/2.2 aperture optics. The software is Android 6.0 Marshmallow based TouchWiz that integrates a bunch of Samsung, Google, and Microsoft apps along with J series innovations like Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode and SBike mode.

Other features of the dual SIM handset include Bluetooth v4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi Direct, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor and 2600 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Price and Availability 

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro will be available exclusively on Snapdeal from July 26, 2016, at a price of INR 9,890 (Which is almost the same as Galaxy J2).
