  • OPPO is testing two 50MP 1/1.95-inch sensors for the Find X10 Ultra’s 10X periscope camera, according to Digital Chat Station.
  • The candidates are Samsung’s ISOCELL GNB and OmniVision’s OV51A, both substantially larger than the Find X9 Ultra’s current JNL sensor.

OPPO is continuing work on the Find X10 Ultra, and a new leak suggests the company is testing a significantly larger sensor for its dedicated 10X periscope camera.

According to Digital Chat Station, OPPO is evaluating two 50MP 1/1.95-inch sensors for the module. One is Samsung’s unreleased ISOCELL GNB, while the other is OmniVision’s OV51A. Either option would replace the 1/2.76-inch Samsung ISOCELL JNL currently used for the 10X camera on the Find X9 Ultra.

A move to a 1/1.95-inch sensor would nearly double the sensor area available to the 10X camera, making it one of the largest sensors used for this focal length. The leak also states that OPPO will retain its quintuple-reflection prism design instead of switching to a hybrid macro implementation. The 3X periscope is currently expected to remain at 200MP, though the sensor size could change.

The Find X10 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.82-inch flat 2K display, just like its predecessor. The phone is also rumored to use Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship Snapdragon platform, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (or whatever Qualcomm calls it).

Earlier leaks from Digital Chat Station also suggested the Find X10 Ultra is targeting the 10,000 RMB price segment, indicating a noticeable price increase over the Find X9 Ultra’s 6,999 RMB launch price. The tipster also claimed the phone is scheduled to debut around March or April 2027.
