TL; DR
  • Digital Chat Station says OPPO has started trial production of a dual-cell battery rated at 4,190 mAh x 2 (8,380 mAh), with a typical value around 8,500 mAh.
  • The battery supports “full-power” 100W fast charging, so OPPO may pair huge capacity with genuinely fast top-ups.
  • The post doesn’t name the phone, but most people are linking it to the Find X10 series (likely the Pro / Pro Max variant) or the OnePlus 16.

OPPO may be planning one of its biggest battery jumps yet for 2026. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo that OPPO (referred to as “欧加” so it could be a OnePlus device as well) has entered trial production for a new dual-cell battery.

He says the rated capacity sits at 4,190 mAh per cell, which adds up to 8,380 mAh total. He also mentions a typical capacity around 8,500 mAh (with some variance).

The same leak also claims OPPO will pair this battery with “full-power” 100W flash charging. This makes sense because many phones throttle charging speeds hard once battery sizes get this large. If OPPO actually sustains 100W properly, this could still charge fast despite the huge capacity.

DCS doesn’t name the device and ends the post with a “guess which phone this is for” line. Still, the timing and OPPO’s current direction make the Find X10 series the obvious guess.

OPPO has already pushed 7,000 mAh-class batteries into recent flagships (Find X9 series), so an 8,500 mAh pack feels like the next step for a Find X10 Pro or Find X10 Pro Max. Or, since DCS mentioned OPlus (which means both OPPO and OnePlus), this phone could be the OnePlus 16 too.

This battery leak also lands in the middle of other Find X10 rumors, including talk of major camera upgrades with dual 200MP cameras and even a possible 1:1 square front camera sensor idea similar to what Apple has done with the iPhone 17 series.
