TL; DR

  • vivo X200 series pricing has been leaked ahead of launch. The X200 will be priced at ₹65,999 and the X200 Pro at ₹94,999.
  • ₹2,000–₹5,000 price hike compared to the vivo X100 series in India.

The vivo X200 and X200 Pro are set to launch in India tomorrow, December 12. However, the leaked pricing details are already out, with the vivo X200 starting at ₹65,999 (12 GB + 256 GB) and the 16 GB + 512 GB variant priced at ₹71,999. The vivo X200 Pro will be available at ₹94,999 for its 16 GB + 512 GB model.

The leak comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter (X), and the pricing seems pretty accurate. This is because vivo has also rolled out pre-bookings for the series, with low-cost EMI options starting at ₹2,750 per month for 24 months. Do the math and you get the starting price, which is ₹66,000.

The Indian pricing is notably higher compared to their Chinese counterparts, where the vivo X200 and X200 Pro were priced at approximately ₹51,000 and ₹60,000, respectively (when converted).

Even compared to the vivo X100 series in India, the new X200 series comes with a ₹2,000–₹5,000 markup. The vivo X100, for instance, was launched at ₹63,999 base, while the X100 Pro was priced at ₹89,999.
