Vivo has launched yet another mid-range smartphone in India, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G. The smartphone offers a 120Hz AMOLED display, runs on an octa-core processor, and carries a dual-camera module. Here’s everything you need to know about the newcomer: its specifications, price, and availability.

Vivo T2 Pro Design

The Vivo T2 Pro, per the company, is the slimmest phone in its segment, measuring just 7.4mm. As far as design is concerned, the smartphone has a punch-hole display on the front with curved display edges and thin bezels on all sides. The phone has a rectangular camera module on the back with two sensors and one ring flash. One can also see the company’s branding at the bottom left corner.

The buttons and port placements are the usual: power and volume rockers on the right, with the charging port and speaker vent at the bottom. It is available in two colors, including Dune Gold and New Moon Black.

The Vivo T2 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,300 nits peak brightness. The pixel density of the panel is 388 pixels per inch, and it is built on an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Under the hood, the smartphone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 (4nm) SoC, which comes with eight cores, two clocked at 2.8GHz and the other six clocked at 2.0GHz. In terms of storage, the smartphone comes in two variants: 8/128GB and 8/256GB. What’s worth mentioning is that users get UFS 2.2 storage. Out of the box, the smartphone offers FunTouchOS 13, based on Android 13.

Regarding cameras, the Vivo T2 Pro has a 64MP (f/1.8) primary wide sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor on the rear panel. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.5) selfie shooter. While the rear cameras can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps, the front camera maxes out at 1080p at 30 fps. With regards to the battery, users get a 4,600 mAh cell that supports 66W wired fast charging.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, and USB-2.0. Users also get an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP52 splash and dust resistance rating.

The Vivo T2 Pro 5G will cost Rs. 23,999 for the base model with 8/128GB storage and Rs. 24,999 for the top model with 8/256GB storage. However, as part of an introductory offer, the company is offering a Rs. 2,000 instant discount on Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards. That said, the smartphone will be available on Flipkart from September 29, 2023, at 7 PM IST.
