Vivo T2 Pro 5G smartphone launching in India on September 22: Chipset Confirmed

The Vivo T2 Pro 5G has been confirmed to launch in India on 22 September. The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart and is claimed to be the fastest smartphone in the price segment. The design of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G is expected to be inspired by iQOO Z7 Pro which was launched in the country recently. Ahead of the launch, the chipset details of the Vivo T2 Pro have been confirmed.

Vivo has started sending out invites for the launch of the smartphone. “Get ready to experience the Performance Pioneer, the new Vivo T2 Pro 5G set to offer extreme performance with trendy aesthetics. Mark your calendars and stay tuned to witness the new Vivo T2 Pro 5G on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 12 Noon”, reads the invite.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G: Chipset Confirmed

The Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. It will be paired with ARM Mali-G610 GPU.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G recently appeared on Geekbench wherein it managed to score 1161 points on the single-core test and 2625 points on the multi-core test performance.  The listing also confirmed some other key specs like chipset, OS, etc.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G is said to have a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It will have a punch-hole cutout for a 16MP selfie camera at the front. The smartphone will run Android 13-based FunTouch OS custom skin out of the box.

In terms of the camera, it is expected to feature a dual camera setup at the back that will include a 64MP primary and a 2MP portrait lens. Under the hood will be a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G: Expected Price

Considering that the iQOO Z7 Pro launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 23,999 for the base model, the Vivo T2 Pro is expected to cost around the same range. There will be launch offers and bank offers as well.
