Earlier this year, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo launched the Vivo T2 in India. Now, the company is preparing to add another smartphone to the series, as it has teased the Vivo T2 Pro today. Here’s what we know about the upcoming smartphone, including its specifications, availability, and expected price.

Vivo Teases T2 Pro

On September 12, 2023, Vivo India uploaded a smartphone teaser on its official X (formerly known as Twitter) account. The teaser shows the smartphone in a golden finish, with a punch-hole camera on the front and the volume/power buttons on the side. It is important to mention that the power button doesn’t have a built-in fingerprint scanner.

Another detail visible in the smartphone teaser is the curved screen, which corroborates the initial reports. Although it doesn’t reveal the smartphone’s launch date, it confirms that it will be available via Flipkart.

Vivo T2 Pro Expected Specs

The Vivo T2 Pro could come with a screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and, unlike most smartphones in its segment, a 1,200Hz touch sampling rate. Although we don’t have any information on the display size, we have heard that it could be an FHD+ display. Under the hood, the phone could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.

In the camera department, the Vivo T2 Pro should come with a 64Mp primary camera with optical image stabilization. From what it looks like, the Vivo T2 Pro will be a mid-tier smartphone by the company, priced around Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000. Currently, the Vivo T2 5G (6/128GB) is available on Flipkart for Rs. 18,999, down from the initial price of Rs. 23,999.
