Vivo India has launched a new T series handset: the Vivo T5. It exists in the ₹30,000 to ₹45,000 bracket, which is attracting more smartphone launches than ever, thanks to the global memory crisis that’s pushing prices sky high. Still, the handset has a few strong spec-sheet entries to hold its ground, including a curved AMOLED display, a massive battery, and a capable primary camera.

Vivo T5: Pricing & Availability
The Vivo T5 will be available in two different colors: Royal Bronze and Silver Green. It goes on sale from September 9, 2026. You can purchase the smartphone form Flipkart, Vivo’s own e-store, and offline retail partners.

Those effective prices include launch-day card discounts of ₹3,500 to ₹4,000 on HDFC, SBI, and Axis Bank cards, plus six-month NCEMI options.

Vivo T5: Key Features & Specifications
To start with, the Vivo T5 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display that is both bright (2,000-nit peak brightness) and smooth (up to 144Hz refresh rate). It’s not an LTPO panel, though, so the refresh rate might be locked in fixed values like 60Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Despite it being a mid-range chipset, Vivo has doubled down on cooling infrastructure, including a 3,800mm² vapor chamber and over 23,000mm² of total heat dissipation area.

Out of the box, the handset runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It also comes with promised 3-year operating system support and five years of security support.
This one gets a 50MP (f/1.8, 1/1.95”) Sony IMX882 primary camera and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide camera, both paired with Aura Light. On the front, you get a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter. One of the phone’s strongest aspects is its battery. At just 7.99mm thick and 199 grams, the T5 doesn’t look like a phone with a 7,050 mAh battery inside it.
The battery supports 44W FlashCharge and is rated to retain 80% battery health after 1,600 charge cycles.
