Samsung is expected to launch its next flagship series in the first quarter of 2023. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Series is said to include 3 models- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Since the last few weeks we have been hearing various leaks and rumors about the S23 Series devices and though we don’t know how many of them are true, there are some new details that have been tipped off.

The latest reports claim that the top variant, Galaxy S23 Ultra will have an all-new design language this time. It will have a different appearance from other S Series devices. Some renders have surfaced online that show the design and the inner hardware of the S23 Ultra model.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: New Design?

In total contrast to the earlier reports which claimed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a curved edge display and a thicker frame, the latest renders shared by @chunvn8888 claim a perfectly flat front screen similar to last year’s S22 and S22+ devices. The frame has been highlighted and looks very thin and has a matte finish instead of the polished chrome finish on last year’s S22 devices. The left side looks clean while the right edge has a volume rocker followed by a power button and a cutout for the mmWave 5G antenna.

The bottom of the device has a SIM tray, the primary mic, a USB Type-C port, and the visible grille for the primary speaker (left to right). The mirrored arrangement is good as one won’t block the speaker while holding the device horizontally. The top side is pretty much empty with just a single cavity for a secondary mic. The rear panel has a camera module and much more.

Although the source is claiming that these renders belong to Galaxy S23 Ultra, there are chances that they might be showing off the middle variant- S23+. This is because the S-Pen stylus is missing in the device that is shown off, the space for camera components is small, and the display is a flat screen.

More will be known as the launch month gets closer.
