Realme 2 To Come With Snapdragon 450 and Dual VoLTE; Full Specs Leak

Oppo’s online sub-brand, Realme, will soon launch its second phone Realme 2 in India exclusively on Flipkart on August 28. We got hold of the spec-sheet for the upcoming phone and can now confirm that Realme 2 will be the same phone as Oppo A5 that was officially announced yesterday. The product listing on Flipkart’s official mobile page also confirms a few of these specifications.

Realme 2 Features

As mentioned above, the specs are the same as that of Oppo A5 that’s already available at offline retail stores. In India, the Oppo A5 includes a fingerprint sensor on its glass-finish gradient back (unlike the Chinese variant) and the same will be true for the Realme 2.

Images on Flipkart product page (mobile browser) reveal the display (6.2-inch)  and battery size (4230mAh). The leaked spec-sheet further confirm that the Realme 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset and will retail in two RAM and storage variants- 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.

The 19:9 notch-display has 720p HD+ resolution. Other features include 13MP + 2MP rear camera, paired with 8MP selfie camera. Other features include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, AGPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Realme 2 Price in India

The Oppo A5 is available at offline stores for Rs. 14,990 (for 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant), but the price of its online sibling, Realme 2, is expected to be a lot more aggressive.

Both the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of Realme 2 are expected to be priced under 10,000 INR.
