Putting all speculations and rumors to rest, the Realme 2 went official in India. As we first broke the news, yes, it comes with Snapdragon 450 chipset. Oppo sub-brand has rebranded recently launched Oppo A5 as Realme 2 for the Indian market. The company has said that it will soon take the Realme 2 global and will launch it in south-east Asia and the Middle East as well.

Realme 2 Features

The biggest talking point of the phone is its notch screen and massive 4230mAh battery. In fact, the Realme 2 is the first smartphone under Rs 10,000 price to boast a notch display. The phone packs a 6.2-inch HD+ LCD display on the front which is certainly a downgrade from Realme 1’s full HD+ screen.

Just like its predecessor, the Realme 2 also has a similar diamond cut design back. It will be available in three colour options: Diamond Red, Diamond Black and Diamond Blue.

The Realme 2 rocks a Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset and will be available in two RAM and storage variants- 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The phone comes with a dedicated dual SIM slot and a microSD card slot. It is also the first Realme phone to offer a fingerprint sensor.
