New OPPO, Vivo & Xiaomi flagships set to launch by October

It’s that time of year again when top smartphone brands unveil their latest and greatest devices. Google has already released the Pixel 9 series, and Apple is set to launch the iPhone 16 lineup next month. Now, the latest buzz is about Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo, which are expected to launch their flagship phones in October.

Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo flagships coming soon

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO and Vivo will be the first to release their new flagships. This is because they’ll be using MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chip. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is likely to wait for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip and launch its Xiaomi 15 series a bit later.

Sensing tough competition, MediaTek is launching their Dimensity 9400 SoC early this year and has already secured partners. We can expect the OPPO Find X8, OPPO Find X8 Pro, Vivo X200, and Vivo X200 Pro to feature this new chip.

Qualcomm isn’t sitting idle either. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected to arrive in October, and Xiaomi is rumored to be the first to use it.

The smartphone race is far from over. We can expect more launches from brands like OnePlus, iQOO, Realme, Nubia, Motorola, and Honor towards the end of the year.
