Google Pixel 8 Vs Google Pixel 8 Pro Compared Ahead of 4th October Launch

Google has confirmed that it will launch Pixel 8 Series on October 4. The Pixel 8 series will include Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Smartphones. Just like every other year, there have been various leaks and renders that give an idea about what the smartphones will look like. Google itself has shared a teaser video that shows Pixel 8 and its Pro Sibling from every nook and corner. The devices are shown next to each other thus leading to a comparison between the two.

Google Pixel 8 Vs Pixel 8 Pro

From the video, it is clear that the Pixel 8 will be tiny in comparison to the Pixel 8 Pro. While the Pixel 6 and 7 were also smaller than their Pro counterparts, but Pixel 8 seems to be the smallest.

Pixel 8 Pro looks exactly as expected with a flat display, a temperature sensor on the back, and a new camera bar design.

The video also reveals colorways as Pixel 8 can be seen in pink/salmon “Rose” color while Pixel 8 Pro is seen in Porcelain color.

There’s a landing page too, the tagline reads, “Pixel gets even more powerful and helpful”. The Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are supposed to get the most advanced Pixel cameras yet while Google AI will help you do more, even faster. The dedicated page for the Pixel 8 series as well as Pixel watch 2 reads “Prepare for landing”.

Pixel 8 Series: Expected India Price

Pixel 8 is expected to be priced between Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 65,000. Pixel 8 Pro will be priced higher.

Pixel Watch 2 will come with more personalized help, safety features, and health insights once paired with your device. The Android version requirement is bumped to 9.0 from 8.0 previously on the first generation which could be due to Wear OS 4.
