In an industry where big launches usually feature Bollywood stars, cricketers, or influencers, vivo did something different with the release of its V40 series smartphones in India. Instead of the usual celebrities, Vivo brought their loyal customers on stage and surprised them with brand-new V40 series phones. This is a happy change for product launches as it reflects how a brand like vivo is committed to its user base. Only a few brands have dared to do a big fat product launch event with customers at the forefront.

In the past, we’ve seen brands use customer feedback as a shield against tough questions at press conferences. Yet, inviting real customers to stand on the dais as stars is unprecedented. Vivo celebrated its 10-year milestone in India by honoring the people who have genuinely championed their brand—their users. This heartfelt gesture marked the occasion and fostered a deeper connection with their audience. The selection process for these lucky customers was just as thoughtful.

How these vivo users were selected?

Vivo reached out to users who had captured significant memories with their Vivo phones, like a mother’s 60th birthday, emphasizing the brand’s and its consumers’ personal bond. This approach rewards loyalty and strengthens it, creating a community of users who feel genuinely valued.

In case you missed it, the V40 phones carry the V series legacy forward and focus on design, form, and cameras. The V40 series specifications and pricing are as follows:
