TL;DR
  • The OPPO Find X9s starts at Rs 79,999 in India, positioning itself as a premium sub-flagship smartphone.
  • Powered by the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, the X9s promises flagship-level performance for demanding users.
  • While not exactly compact, the OPPO Find X9s is designed to rival the popular Vivo X300 FE, offering a serious alternative for power users.

OPPO’s launch strategy mirrors the confusion seen with Vivo’s X300 FE, as the Find X9s sits above the standard Find X9, despite being labeled ‘sub-flagship.’ For now, let’s focus on what the OPPO Find X9s brings to Indian consumers.

Its headline features include the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip, a massive 7,025mAh battery, and a Hasselblad-tuned 50MP triple rear camera system, among others.

OPPO Find X9s price in India, availability

OPPO Find X9s VariantPrice
12GB + 256GBRs 79,999
12GB + 512GBRs 89,999

OPPO has matched the Find X9s price to that of its closest competitor, the Vivo X300 FE. The 256GB base model is priced at Rs 79,999, with the 512GB variant at Rs 89,999. Interestingly, this makes the Find X9s costlier than the standard Find X9, which could still offer better performance, cameras, and wireless charging for some buyers.

Early birds can grab the OPPO Find X9s for as low as Rs 72,000, thanks to launch offers and select bank discounts. Sales begin May 28th on Amazon India and other partner platforms. Choose from three stunning colours: Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, and Sunset Orange. For those who love photography and demand all-day battery life, the X9s could be a top contender.

OPPO Find X9s Details

The OPPO Find X9s isn’t aiming for compactness. With its 159mm x 74mm x 7.9mm frame and 202-gram weight, it feels solid in hand. You get a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display offering a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, bright 1,800 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. However, it’s not as power-efficient as the Vivo X300 FE’s LTPO panel, which adapts refresh rates more dynamically.

On the battery front, the X9s packs an impressive 7,025mAh cell—larger than most rivals. While this means longer use between charges, the 80W wired SuperVOOC fast charging isn’t the fastest around, especially when compared to the X300 FE’s 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging.

Under the hood, performance is neck-and-neck with the competition. The Dimensity 9500s chip is nearly as powerful as Snapdragon’s top-tier offerings. You get 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of fast UFS 4.1 storage. It runs ColorOS 16 on Android 16, with four years of major updates promised—but only six years of security patches, which is a bit less than what some rivals offer.

Where the X9s truly stands out is its camera setup. Hasselblad’s expertise shines through a trio of 50MP sensors: main, ultra-wide, and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. You also get up to 6x lossless zoom, Dolby Vision 4K video at 60fps on all sensors, and 240fps slow-mo. Selfie fans aren’t left out, thanks to a sharp 32MP front camera in the display punch-hole.

Rounding out the feature list: the Find X9s offers robust IP66/68/69 water and dust resistance, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, NFC, and eSIM support. Its flat-edge design and distinctive squircle camera module give it a modern, recognizable look, topped off with Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
