Tech giant Vivo has announced two new smartphones that are a part of Vivo’s V40 Series in Europe. The company has launched Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Lite to celebrate the inaugural match of the UEFA EURO 2024 Championship that is being held in Germany. Vivo is expected to bring the V40 Series to India soon as the brand launches its V-Series devices in the country.

Vivo V40 5G: Specs

The European version of Vivo V40 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 720 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB onboard storage. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits brightness, HDR10+, and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone runs Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 and supports dual nano SIM cards.

In terms of camera optics, it features a 50MP main sensor at the back along with a 50MP ultrawide sensor. At the front is a 50MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Vivo V40 5G packs a 5500mAh powerhouse with 80W wired fast charging. It is IP68-rated and weighs 190 grams. Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, BeiDou, USB Type-C, 5G, and more.

Vivo V40 Lite 5G: Specs

Vivo V40 Lite 5G smartphone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness. It is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The device runs Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 out of the box and supports dual nano SIM cards (including e-SIM). 

The smartphone draws juice from a 5500mAh powerhouse with 44W fast charging. As for the camera, there is a 50MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide camera at the back. At the front is a 32MP sensor for selfies. Vivo V40 Lite is IP64 rated and weighs 179-188 grams. It comes with an aura light design and connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, 5G, and more.

Vivo V40 Series: Pricing & Availability (Europe)

Vivo V40 5G is priced at 599 Euros (Rs. 53,645 approx.) It comes in Nebula Purple and Stellar Silver shades. The smartphone will be available in the first week of July.

Vivo V40 Lite 5G is priced at 399 Euros (Rs. 35,700 approx.). It comes in Dream White and Classy Brown hues. It has started rolling out in various European markets.
