TL;DR
- ASUS Diwali sale is live on Amazon and Flipkart.
- Most prices match October’s festive sales, not new lows.
- Best value: Vivobook S16 with 16GB RAM at ₹74,990.
ASUS kicked off its Diwali 2026 sale on Amazon and Flipkart, just five days before Diwali. They’re shouting about up to 44% off Zenbooks on Amazon and up to 58% off Vivobook, Vivobook S, TUF Gaming, and ROG laptops on Flipkart. Some models come with No-Cost EMI, instant bank discounts, and exchange offers. The lowest price in the sale is the Vivobook 15 at ₹52,990.
ASUS has not announced when the sale ends.
Here’s the thing. These are October’s prices.
If these numbers look familiar, you’re not imagining it. The Vivobook 15 at ₹66,990, the Vivobook S16 at ₹74,990, and the Vivobook 15 at ₹52,990 all showed up during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days and Amazon’s Great Indian Festival in October.
If you missed October, you get another shot at the same price. If you waited for Diwali hoping for something lower, the main models haven’t dropped further.
How real is “up to 58% off”?
That 58% number comes from one laptop: the Vivobook 15 with an Intel Core 5 120U, 8GB RAM, and 512GB storage. It’s listed at ₹66,990, down from an MRP of ₹1,59,990. I don’t know anyone who would pay ₹1.6 lakh for that setup. That percentage tells you more about the MRP than the real deal.
Here’s what the discounts look like compared to the MRPs ASUS lists.
| Model | Sale Price | MRP | Discount |
| Vivobook 15 (Core 5 120U, 8GB/512GB) | ₹66,990 | ₹1,59,990 | 58% |
| Vivobook 16 (Snapdragon X, 8GB/256GB) | ₹60,990 | ₹1,08,990 | 44% |
| Vivobook S16 (Ryzen 5 220, 16GB/512GB) | ₹74,990 | ₹1,47,990 | 49% |
| Zenbook S14 (16GB/512GB) | ₹1,69,990 | ₹3,02,990 | 44% |
| Zenbook A14 (Snapdragon X2 Elite, 16GB/512GB) | ₹1,65,990 | ₹2,66,990 | 38% |
| Zenbook A16 (Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme, 24GB/512GB) | ₹2,04,990 | ₹2,19,990 | 7% |
Should you buy now or wait?
Rising component costs are the reason I’m taking this sale seriously. Industry estimates say India’s PC market could shrink by 22% in the second half of 2026 because higher costs are hitting demand. When manufacturers pay more for memory and storage, I don’t expect January prices to be much lower than now. That’s my best guess, not a promise.
So here’s my advice. If you were already planning to buy a laptop this season, now’s a fine time to do it. But don’t buy just because 58% looks like a big number.

| ProArt | Video editors and colour-critical work | Expensive; overkill for everyday use |
| TUF Gaming | A first gaming laptop | Displays and build are less premium than ROG |

Best ASUS Vivobook deals on Flipkart
| Model | Price | Specs |
| Vivobook 15 | From ₹52,990 | Intel Core 3, 8GB RAM, 512GB (Core 5 variant ₹66,990) |
| Vivobook 16 | From ₹60,990 | Snapdragon X, 8GB RAM, 256GB (Ryzen 7 7840HS variant ₹69,990, 8GB/512GB) |

| Vivobook 14 | ₹79,990 | Core Ultra 5, 16GB RAM, 512GB |
Best value: Vivobook S16 at ₹74,990. It’s the cheapest laptop here with 16GB RAM. That matters. On thin laptops, RAM is usually soldered, so you can’t upgrade the 8GB models later.
Lowest price: Vivobook 15 at ₹52,990. It’s good for browsing, documents, and online classes. With 8GB RAM and a Core 3 chip, it will struggle if you try heavy multitasking.

Bottom line
The ASUS Diwali 2026 sale covers a lot of ground, but doesn’t break any price records. Still, there are three good entry points: the Vivobook 15 at ₹52,990 for basic use, the Vivobook S16 at ₹74,990 for students who want 16GB RAM, and the TUF Gaming A15 at ₹92,990 for a first gaming laptop.
If I were buying this week, I’d skip every 8GB model and start with the Vivobook S16. You can’t fix RAM after you buy. You can always wait for a better sale.
