LG V40 ThinQ set To Go On Sale Exclusive on Amazon India From 20 January

The LG V40 ThinQ is coming to India and it has been confirmed by Amazon. Until yesterday there were reports floating in the media that LG could launch its V40 ThingQ in India soon and today the reports have been confirmed. According to Amazon banner, LG will be bringing the V40 in two colours — Moroccan Blue and Platinum Grey.

LG V40 ThinQ Features

The phone sports a large 6.4-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution (1,440 x 3,120 pixels). It features a notch at the top of its tall display that has 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a premium design with glass-metal design which is IP68 water and dust-resistance certified. It comes with  Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and MIL-STD-810G certification for durability as well. 

The phone houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM for processing power and multitasking. From the Amazon listings, we also know that a 128GB variant of the phone would be on sale.

Upfront, an 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle duo resides. This means you could capture more of your friends and the background landscape in the frame. The back of the phone would sport a triple camera setup which includes a 12-megapixel camera with an f/1.5 aperture, paired with a 16-megapixel 107-degree super wide-angle sensor with f/1.9 aperture, and an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens. You would find the fingerprint sensor too mounted at the back.

LG V40 ThinQ runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with LG’s native skin over it. The smartphone would be fueled by a 3,300mAh battery. You also get a dedicated Google Assistant key to summon the Smart AI at your disposal. Moreover, the Face Unlock is supported along with Fingerprint and other traditional unlock methods.

LG V40 ThinQ Price & Availability

The reports claim that of the phone would be available around Rs. 45000 and you could grab one once goes on sale during Amazon’s Great India Sale starting January 20. Luckily interested Prime members will get early access to LG V40 ThinQ a day earlier on January 19.

As a part of Amazon India launch offers, HDFC is offering 10 percent discount on orders placed using HDFC Bank credit or debit card and No Cost EMI up to 12 months. Amazon is also chipping in with extra Rs. 5,000 on buying the V40 in exchanging of your old phone. Moreover, LG is also offering a free screen replacement worth Rs. 16,750.
