TL; DR
  • realme Buds Air 8 Pro goes on sale June 3 on Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, and realme.com.
  • The earbuds feature 55dB adaptive ANC and a bone conduction VPU for cleaner call quality.
  • A 10-minute fast charge delivers up to 11 hours of playback via the USB-C port.

Along with the realme 16T (review), the Chinese lifestyle tech manufacturer has released the realme Buds Air 8 Pro in India, the successor to the Buds Air 7. For their price, the earbuds compete with the Nothing Ear (a). They also sit well above the newly-launched Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro.

The Buds Air 8 Pro are designed with renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, carrying forward the company’s Master Design language with a mirror-finish body and a plateau-style lid.

realme Buds Air 8 Pro: Pricing & Availability

The Buds Air 8 Pro are priced at ₹6,999 in India. You can also avail of a ₹300 launch discount, which reduces the effective price to ₹6,699. Buyers can choose from two colors: Master Black and Master White.

They will be available starting June 3, 2026. Interested buyers can get the earbuds from e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, and offline retail stores.

realme Buds Air 8 Pro: Key Features

The dual-driver configuration is a standout feature: a coaxial 11mm dynamic bass unit sits alongside a 6mm micro-planar tweeter. Each of them is handled by a DAC chip, which, if you ask me, is a setup usually found in earbuds that cost north of ₹10,000.

realme has equipped the earbuds with LHDC 5.0 for high-resolution wireless audio. They also come with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. Noise cancellation, another strong suit of the device, reaches 55dB in adaptive mode, which automatically adjusts the isolation effect based on the ambient noise conditions.

For clear calls, the earbuds feature a six-microphone array (three per earbud), alongside a bone conduction VPU that isolates vocal vibrations directly and filters up to 90dB of environmental noise.

Connectivity depends on Bluetooth v6.1, which enables triple-device simultaneous connection. The earbuds also support wear detection and Google Fast Pair support. For gaming, there’s a dedicated 45ms low-latency mode which keeps audio in sync on titles like BGMI and COD Mobile.

On a single charge, the earbuds last up to 12 hours, in normal mode (ANC off), which goes up to a total of 50 hours with the charging case. The earbuds also support fast charging, wherein a 10-minute charge via USB-C recharges the battery enough for up to 11 hours of playback.
