TL; DR
  • OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro launches in India at Rs 4,999, with sales beginning May 28.
  • The earbuds deliver up to 55dB ANC, Bluetooth 6.0, and LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res Audio.
  • Battery life reaches 54 hours with the case, with ANC off on AAC.

Along with the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra, Oppo has also introduced a new addition to its mid-range audio lineup: the Enco Air 5 Pro. Released in China back in February, the earbuds are now available in India for ₹4,999.

The Enco Air 5 Pro targets the increasingly competitive sub-₹6,000 TWS segment, competing with the likes of Nothing Ear (a) and Realme Buds Air 8 Pro. Separately, the company also quietly launched the more affordable Enco Air 5 in China on May 20 (though there’s no official Indian launch date for the same).

Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro: Price & Availability

The Enco Air 5 Pro is priced at ₹4,999 in India. It is available in Pearl White and Matte Black. Sales commence May 28 through the company’s official website and offline retail channels.

Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro: Key Features & Specifications

The Enco Air 5 Pro is the company’s premium offering available in the country. They feature a 12mm titanium-coated dynamic driver with a frequency response of 20Hz to 40kHz, aiming to produce deeper bass and clearer high-frequency detail.

The main specification, however, is active noise cancellation, which is rated at up to 55dB with a noise reduction frequency range of up to 5,000Hz. This is a clear upgrade over the Enco Air 4 Pro’s 49dB ANC. You get four noise control modes to choose from: ANC On, Adaptive, Transparency, and ANC Off, inspired by flagship earbuds.

Audio codec support includes LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res Audio, as well as the traditional AAC and SBC. The earbuds connect with your smartphone via Bluetooth 6.0 with dual-device pairing. There’s a low-latency mode as well, which takes the response time down to 47ms, useful for playing video games.

Oppo has equipped the earbuds with a triple-microphone, which powers the Clear Call technology, isolating vocals and suppressing ambient noise during calls, with an in-built wind-noise reduction algorithm (wind speeds up to 25 km/h). You also get support for AI translation and touch controls.

Regarding battery life, the earbuds last up to 13 hours with ANC off (62 mAh battery cell), and up to 54 hours with the charging case (with a 530 mAh battery). With ANC, the battery life drops to seven hours and 29 hours with the case. Finally, both the earbuds and the charging case carry an IP55 rating.
