Xiaomi Mi 11 with 108MP Camera and Snapdragon 888 launched globally

Xiaomi has finally unveiled the global version of Mi 11 in an online launch event on February 8. The flagship phone features Snapdragon 888 at the core. Other premium specs include a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP rear camera, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. 

Xiaomi Mi 11 is a successor of Mi 10 launched back in early 2020. Mi 11 ships with a 55W fast GaN charger in the box unlike the premium smartphones Apple iPhone 12 series and Samsung Galaxy S21 series who ditched chargers. Xiaomi also announced to launch MI 11 Special Edition in the following days.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Price and Availability

Xiaomi has priced Mi 11 8GB + 128GB variant at 749 euros and 8GB + 256GB at 799 euros. The device comes in color options of standard blue and black. In India, the device will be available on Amazon but the arrival details are not yet revealed.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Features

Xiaomi Mi 11 comes with a QHD+ 6.81-inch AMOLED display at the front. It sports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1500 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ resolution. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and the back is also glass. The punch hole cutout is home to a 20MP selfie shooter. 

Photography needs are covered by a triple camera module including a 108MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide sensor with 123° FoV, and a 5MP tele-macro lens. Mi 11 can record videos up to 8K HDR10+ resolution. A few interesting camera modes include Magic Zoom, Time Freeze Frame, Parallel World, Time Freeze, Night Time Lapse, and Slow Shutter.

Mi 11 is powered by a 5G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset roomed with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Connectivity options include WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 capable of pairing two headsets simultaneously. There is also stereo-speakers support with sound tuned by Harmon Kardon.
