As teased, Xiaomi has launched the world’s first Snapdragon 888-wielding phone. The phone ships with a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP camera, and many of the high-flying specs to justify the flagship crown. And similar to a recent top-shot handset, this one too ditches the charger from the retail box. So, this also makes it a first of its kind.

Mi 11 has a metallic frame holding the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on front and the glass back body. There’s also a vegan leather back option.

Upfront, the 6.81-inch display sports a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch response rate, 515 PPI pixel density, 1500 nits peak brightness, 10-bit color, and HDR10+. You also get an under-display fingerprint scanner. Unlocking the phone, you will be interacting with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
The new software skin is embedded on top of Snapdragon 888 silicon. The internal hardware also comprises up to 12GB RAM,256GB storage, and a 4,600mAh battery. Now, although the phone supports 55W wired charging, the adapter isn’t made available within the box.
Optics-wise, you are getting a triple camera (108MP + 13MP + 5MP) set up by the back and a solo (20MP) selfie snapper on the face. Some of the other goodies included in the mix are WiFi 6, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.2, IP68 water resistance, and stereo speakers, among other things.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Price and Availability
Xiaomi has priced the Mi 11 in China as follows:
- 8GB+128GB: CNY 3,999 (~Rs. 44,999)
- 8GB+256GB: CNY 4,299 (~Rs. 48,299)
- 12GB+256GB: CNY 4,699 (~Rs. 52,799)
International and Indian availability details are yet to be revealed.
