Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Mi 10 5G will launch in India on May 8. The launch will live-streamed on Youtube and on Xiaomi’s social media handles.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 was supposed to launch at the end of March but the national lockdown disrupted the company’s schedule. Since the government is now easing e-commerce business norms, Xiaomi has fastened its belt to make up for the lost time.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro were earlier launched in China and globally on February 13 with MIUI 11-based Android 10. The Indian version will get Mi 10 with fully ad-free MIUI software, good news for Mi fans who aren’t keen on ads. With the premium specs of Mi 10, Xiaomi is back on the pitch after a long time. However, Indian markets will not host the advanced Mi 10 Pro phones.
