Tech giant Tecno has launched its first foldable smartphone in the country. Tecno Phantom V Fold has gone official in India with a book-like design, 2 AMOLED displays, and MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. The foldable was first showcased during the MWC 2023 in February this year and now it will finally be available for purchase in the Indian market. Tecno Phantom V Fold comes in 2 storage configurations-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 89,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 99,999

The foldable will be available in an early bird sale from April 12th via Amazon India. During the sale, the Tecno Phantom V Fold will be up for grabs for Rs. 77,777 on Amazon India. It has been launched in 2 colorways-black and white.

Tecno Phantom V Fold: Design & Specifications

The Tecno Phantom V Fold comes with a book-like design that is somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. It is made of aerospace material and has been tested for over 200,000 folds.

The foldable is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. It runs a custom HiOS-based Android 13 OS and packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 45W fast charging tech.

In terms of camera optics, Tecno Phantom V Fold sports a triple camera setup at the back including a 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The front has a 16MP selfie camera. The device sports a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED outer display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a foldable 7.65-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a high refresh rate.
