Smatron – an Indian OEM, has launched its next-generation multifunctional “tbook flax” hyper-laptop in India. It is a 2-in-1 laptop loaded with features such as a detachable backlit keyboard, WQXGA IPS Display, Intel i7 processor, detachable keyboard, and a fast fingerprint scanner.

Smatron tbook flax Indian Price and Availability
The Smartron tbook flex has been priced in India at Rs. 42,990 and INR 52,990 for the m3 and i5 versions, respectively. The product will be available for sale exclusively on Flipkart starting midnight on May 13 in Orange/Grey and Black/Grey color options.
Smatron tbook flax Features
The Smatron tbook flax model comes in two chipset variants – up to 2Ghz “7th Gen Intel Core m3” and up to 3.20Ghz “7th Gen Intel Core i5“. Both the chipsets are paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB storage drive.
“Its unique dual tone finish and a flixstand with a step-less hinge design and an ability to flex up to 150 degrees are what makes this laptop stand out,” the company said in a press statement.
The laptop features a 12.2-inch (diagonally) WQXGA 2560 x 1600 IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel is touchscreen and Smatron claims it comes with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.
In optics, the Smatron tbook flax sports a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. The software running on the laptop is Windows 10 and is aided by 40Whr Lithium-ion Polymer Battery.

Connectivity options on tbook flax include a “Thunderbolt” 3 USB-Type C port that enables users to transfer data at up to 40Gbps; USB 3.0; 1 x SD Memory Card Slot; 1 x Type C USB Thunderbolt 3; and 1 x Type C USB ports. Wireless connectivity options include 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz), Intel WiDi (WiFi Direct), and Bluetooth 4.0.
Other notable features of Smatron tbook flax are a detachable keyboard, fingerprint sensor, dual-mic and powerful speakers with noise cancellation.
