Galaxy A37 and A57 Launched in India: Check Pricing and Specifications

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in India, and the pricing lines up with what we saw earlier.

Galaxy A37 

  • 8 GB + 128 GB: ₹41,999
  • 8 GB + 256 GB: ₹47,499
  • 12 GB + 256 GB: ₹52,999

Galaxy A57

  • 8 GB + 256 GB: ₹56,999
  • 12 GB + 256 GB: ₹62,499

Design, Display, and Build

Both phones come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. The A57 uses a Super AMOLED+ panel, while the A37 uses a standard Super AMOLED panel.

In terms of size and weight, the A57 is slimmer and lighter at 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9 mm and 179 grams, while the A37 measures 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4 mm and weighs 196 grams.

Both models now come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, which is an upgrade over the previous generation’s IP67.

Cameras

The camera setup remains mostly familiar. The A57 uses a 50 MP main camera (f/1.8), a 12 MP ultrawide (f/2.2), and a 5 MP macro (f/2.4), along with a 12 MP front camera. The A37 keeps the same 50 MP main and 5 MP macro, but uses an 8 MP ultra-wide instead, with the same 12 MP front camera.

Performance and Battery

Both devices are powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. Samsung says the 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 can reach around 60% in about 30 minutes. The A57 also gets a 13% larger vapor chamber.

The Galaxy A57 is now powered by the Exynos 1680 processor, while the A37 gets the older Exynos 1480. Both models used UFS 3.1 storage type for all configurations.

Software, AI, and Updates

Both phones run Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and bring Samsung’s updated “Awesome Intelligence” features. This includes tools like voice transcription inside the Voice Recorder app, AI Select with drag-and-drop support, improved Object Eraser, and Circle to Search with multi-object recognition.

The A57 also adds features like Best Face for group photos and Auto Trim for video editing. Bixby and Gemini integration are part of the experience as well. Samsung is committing to up to 6 generations of Android and One UI updates, along with 6 years of security updates.

Security and Extras

Security features include Samsung Knox Vault for hardware-level protection, along with tools like the Security and Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, Private Sharing, Theft Protection, and Private Album. The phones also include Privacy Alerts that notify users about potential risks related to sensitive data.

Colors 

The Galaxy A57 comes in Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 is available in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Graygreen.
