Samsung Galaxy S10 series has set bars high for 2019 flagships. At the Unpacked event back in February, Samsung also talked about a 5G edition and the same has officially launched in the company’s homeland. The S10 5G doesn’t just feature the next-gen network capability but also packs an improved camera system and a faster 25W charging support.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G: What’s new and Different?
The obvious selling point of this phone is in its name itself, yeah it is officially the first 5G commercial phone. But that itself might not entice someone to shell out their hard-earned cash, right? So, let’s see what does the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S10 5G brings to the table.
The S10 5G sports a larger 6.7-inch display as compared to the 6.4-inch panel on S10+. The bigger Super-AMOLED display features a 1440 x 3040-pixel resolution.
Flipping to back, you would notice an extra camera as part of the Quad camera panel. The fourth lens is a ToF module for better depth-mapping, enhanced low light shots, and faster autofocus.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is powered by Exynos Modem 5100, which contains a 5G multi-mode chipset. The company has reportedly started mass production of these 5G chips. It also ships with the latest UFS 3.0 based 256GB storage coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The phone also bears a massive 4500mAh battery to juice the power demand of 5G modem. Samsung gives a snappier 25W fast charging support, unlike the 15W adapter it bundles with the rest of the S10 family.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Price and Availability
S10 5G is available in South Korea for 1.39M won (approx. Rs. 85032). The company has bundled a free pair of Galaxy Buds(review) as a launch offer. Samsung has revealed that the US pre-orders would commence from April 18 and the handset will hit stores starting May 16.
