Samsung’s next set of Galaxy J-series phones are now official in India. All details related to the hardware are now listed on the official website but Samsung Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ price in India hasn’t been revealed yet.

The new J-series phones look attractive and the J6+ includes a side mounted fingerprint sensor to keep things interesting. They are, however, powered by entry-grade Snapdragon 425 octa-core chipset which is surely a buzz-kill.

Samsung Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ Features

The highlighted side mounted fingerprint sensor is exclusive to Galaxy J6+. Other than that the two phones are almost similar.

Both of these phones have the same dimensions, are powered by the same mobile platform, have the same battery size (3300mAh) and the same displays.

The camera hardware is a bit different, though. The J6+ gets dual rear cameras and a higher resolution selfie sensor as compared to the J4+. Also, the Galaxy J4+ will be available in lower RAM and storage options as you can see in the specs table below.

On the Galaxy J6+, The right edge includes the fingerprint sensor on the right edge has been clubbed with the power button. The mono speaker is also on the right edge itself. Both of these Galaxy J-series phones include a dedicated card slot.

Since the chipset used is SD 425, the Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ won’t include Dual SIM Dual VoLTE (DSDV) in India. Other features include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and NFC.
