Samsung to Launch Galaxy A35 & Galaxy A55 Smartphones in India on March 11

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has confirmed two new A-Series smartphones for India. The brand has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy A35 and Samsung Galaxy A55 are launching in India on March 11. Successors to Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 respectively, the new devices will democratize innovation in the mid-budget segment.

The registration for these upcoming devices has already started via Samsung’s website. The launch event will take place on 11th March at 2:30 PM IST. The page has gone live on Samsung’s website which also confirms 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches for the devices.

Samsung Galaxy A55: Expected Specs

Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to be powered by Exynos 1480 SoC with AMD GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. It is said to flaunt a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device will run Android 14-based One UI custom skin out of the box.

In terms of camera optics, the device is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera along with a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro camera. At the front might be a 32MP selfie shooter. The smartphone is said to draw juice from a 5000mAh powerhouse with 25W wired fast charging capability.

Some live images of Galaxy A55 have surfaced online that showcase the phone in a mint green shade with a triple camera setup at the back and a flat frame design.

Samsung Galaxy A35: Expected features

Samsung Galaxy A35 is said to feature an Exynos 1380 chipset with up to 6GB RAM and run Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. Galaxy A35 is expected to come with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display panel and feature a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 25W wired fast charging.

In terms of camera, Galaxy A35 is expected to have a 50MP+8MP+5MP setup at the back. IP67 rating is also rumored for the device.
