Xiaomi has hosted a fan festival in India wherein the brand has launched two new devices to the Redmi line-up. Redmi Note 12 4G & Redmi 12C have gone official in the country today out of which Redmi Note 12 is a mid-ranger while Redmi 12C is an entry-level device. The Redmi 12 has already been launched in the global market and now these two new Redmi smartphones will try and make their way into people’s hearts as well as pockets in the upcoming days.
Redmi Note 12 & Redmi 12C: Price & Availability
The Redmi Note 12 will be available in the following variants-
- 6GB RAM+64GB storage- at an introductory price of Rs. 13,999 including bank offer
- 6GB RAM+128GB storage- at an introductory price of Rs. 15,999 including bank offer
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage- at an introductory price of Rs. 20,999 including bank offer
For Xiaomi users, there will be Rs. 500 cashback on this introductory price bringing the effective price even lower.
Redmi Note 12 will come in Lunar black, frosted ice blue, and sunrise gold colorways, and the first sale will take place on April 6 at 12 PM via online and offline channels.
Redmi 12C comes in the following storage configurations-
- 4GB RAM+64GB storage- at an introductory price of Rs. 8499
- 6GB RAM+128GB storage- at an introductory price of Rs. 10,499
It comes in Lavender purple, mint green, royal blue, and matte black colors. The first sale will take place on April 6 via Flipkart, Amazon, Mi website, Mi Home stores, and retail outlets.

Redmi Note 12 4G: Specifications
The Redmi Note 12 4G sports a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and more. It is powered by Snapdragon 685 chipset with up to 11GB RAM with a 5GB Virtual RAM expansion feature. Redmi Note 12 4G runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 OS out of the box.

The smartphone has a 50MP dual camera setup at the back along with a 5MP selfie lens at the front. It packs a 5000mAh battery with a 10W adapter packed inside the box. It has a stylish stripe design and comes in 4 beautiful colors. The smartphone also comes with a rear fingerprint scanner, 2+1 card slot, dual-band WiFi, IP52 rating, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and much more. It weighs 192 grams and is 8.77mm thick.
