Oppo Find X8 Ultra Camera Specs Surface Online: Launch in 2025

Oppo recently launched the flagship Find X8 Series in India which includes two smartphones-the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro. The brand is now working on the third member of the Find X8 Series family, the Find X8 Ultra which will launch in 2025. The Oppo Find X8 Ultra will first launch in China and then arrive in global markets including India. Months ahead of the launch, details about the camera specs of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra have surfaced online. Let us have a look at them.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Camera specs tipped

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will get a large 50MP 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 3X periscope telephoto camera along with a 50MP ½-inch Sony IMX882 6x periscope telephoto lens. The Ultra variant is also tipped to retain the 50MP sensor with a 1-inch Sony LYT900 sensor and a 50MP ultrawide camera similar to the Find X7 Ultra. This makes a quad camera setup at the back for professional-grade photography.

Latest reports claim that Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra will both use 200MP periscope lenses, however, the Find X8 Ultra will most likely skip it.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Expected specs

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and features a micro quad curved display. The Ultra variant is tipped to flaunt a 6.82-inch BOE X2 LTPO OLED screen with 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it will draw power from a 6000mAh battery with 80W wired charging speed. The smartphone is expected to be IP68+ IP69 rated for protection against dust and water.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Launch Timeline

An Oppo official has confirmed that the brand will launch the Oppo Find X8 Ultra after it launches the Oppo Find N5 in January 2025. Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to launch in Q1 2025. The brand is also expected to launch the Oppo Find X8 mini alongside the Ultra model.

To recapitulate, the Oppo Find X8 (review) and Oppo Find X8 Pro (review) are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. The latest OS offers AI features like AI Photo Remaster, AI Toolbox, and more for enhanced creativity. The Oppo Find X8 Pro is priced at Rs. 99,999 while the Find X8 begins at a price of Rs. 69,999 in India.
