Oppo F5, an 18:9 display phone that was introduced in the Philippines last week, has been incessantly popping in TV commercials ever since and is now official in India. The new selfie expert from Chinese manufacturer comes with a new artificial intelligence feature that enhances selfie using AI algorithms.

Biggest attraction point for Oppo F5 it’s 18:9 aspect ratio 6-inch full HD+ display that comes with 2160×1080 pixels resolution. The trendy display is surrounded by extremely narrow bezels. It is further layered by 2.5D glass Gorilla Glass 5 protection glass.

The successor of Oppo F3+ uses a 20-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture to let you capture ‘real you’ as claimed by the company. The phone comes with A.I. beauty recognition technology which over the period of time learn your face contours and complexion to offer better selfies even in low light or at odd angles. On the literal flip side, the Oppo F5 features a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and wide f/1.8 aperture.
Under the hood, the Oppo F5 rocks a MediaTek Helio P23 chipset which is manufactured using the 16nm process. The octa-core chipset comes with all Cortex-A53 cores clocking up to 2.3GHz. It is further complimented by Mali G71 GPU and 4GB and 6GB RAM. Oppo offers 32GB and 64GB internal storage options with microSD card support. The phone comes running on Android Nougat based ColorOS 3.2. The Company has shied away from mentioning anything about Oreo upgrade.

On the connectivity front, Oppo F5 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and dual SIM support. The phone is backed by a 3200mAh battery.
Oppo F5 Price, Launch Offers, and Availability
Oppo F5 India price at the launch was set at Rs. 19,990 for 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM while 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM is priced at Rs. 24,990. Both phones will retail on Flipkart and at offline stores.
